CaptainU CaptainU is a web platform that allows high school athletes and college coaches to easily manage the entire college sports recruiting process. Using proprietary Guidance Technology, CaptainU teaches high school athletes and their parents how to navigate the college sports recruiting process step-by-step making the process straightforward, manageable, and empowering. Craig Wortmann, EIR, CaptainU Craig is the President and CEO of WisdomTools, Inc., a software development firm, specializing in e-learning content. He is also the Adjunct Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at University of Chicago Graduate School of Business where he teaches a class on entrepreneurial selling.

Andrew Cittadine, EIR, Diagnostic Photonics Andrew is a serial entrepreneur with extensive experience building and growing medical device companies based on technologies licensed from universities. Andrew is the CEO of American BioOptics, LLC and was a Co-Founder of Sensant Corporation.

Prior to joining SecurePipe, Art was the president and CEO of Novarra, a wireless software company. Prior to joining Novarra, Art was president and CEO of The Premisys Corp., a leading sales engineering automation software company. Art is a board member of the Illinois Technology Association and has been recognized in Crain's Internet 100 Executives.

Herb White, EIR, MagDrive Herb is a serial entrepreneur who gives back to the entrepreneurial community as an advisor to government and universities on the commercialization of technology.

Unlike other security appliances, Salare's products do not use deep packet inspection and thus do not degrade the Quality of Service (QOS) of voice. Ken Kousky, EIR, Salare Security Ken founded and ran three companies, including his latest venture IP3, information security consulting firm. Prior to IP3, Ken was the CEO of Wave Technologies and Novell Inc. He established Washington University's graduate program in Telecommunications Management and is the President of BlueWater Angels Investment Network.

Daniel Hess, EIR, Trans FS Dan brings a wealth of experience in general management, sales and interactive marketing. Dan is the Founder of Thought Motor, consulting and advisory services firm that serves startups and early stage ventures. Formerly he worked at Tribune Interactive, comScore and Information Resources, Inc.

The EIRs will work with companies during 12 months and advise them on commercialization and go to market strategies. The CEC worked with the companies to identify EIR candidates and formulate meaningful business milestones while the program's independent selection committee awarded the companies grants to propel them toward success.
