Built on technology from Northwestern University's Intelligent Information Laboratory, it uses a unique mix of statistical and heuristic analysis of metadata and user preferences to find content that will of immediate interest to them, without interfering with their core experience.

Dan brings a wealth of experience in general management, sales and interactive marketing. Dan is the Founder of Thought Motor, consulting and advisory services firm that serves startups and early stage ventures. Formerly he worked at Tribune Interactive, comScore and Information Resources, Inc.


The EIRs will work with companies during 12 months and advise them on commercialization and go to market strategies. The CEC worked with the companies to identify EIR candidates and formulate meaningful business milestones while the program's independent selection committee awarded the companies grants to propel them toward success.
